BabyP is now the size of a lemon!
Baby is busy with thumb sucking, toe wiggling, (not so cute but equally amazing) making urine, and breathing amniotic fluid as the liver, kidneys, and spleen continue to develop. Lanugo (thin, downy hair) is growing all over his/her body for warmth.

Hello family and friends!
Now that we officially have a bun in the oven, we have started a blog! Strawberries & Ginger Ale will be a place for us to chronicle our first pregnancy and very quickly changing life for our family and friends all over the country. And if you are wondering about the name - it's because strawberries and ginger ale have been a staple in my "with child" diet and must have been all I could think about when coming up with a title. I hope to get this blog looking a little better once I learn the blogging ropes. If you know me, you know I will have to change the way it looks. It's the designer curse. Please check back frequently for updates!
In the meantime, check out Baby P's most recent pics below. These were taken during our epic (as in long - I am not complaining!) ultrasound at 12 weeks, in which I had to go to the bathroom 3 times in 30 minutes in order to get Baby P to move into the right position for the test. I know, I know - he/she already looks like Matt!
